I enjoyed walking through chinatown as it really reminds me of the olden days.It really brings history back to life.The only problem i faced is that there are many people staring at me when I took the video of People's park causing me to take a long time taking that video.I think i would take my own photo's of the place if I can do it again.

I went to People's park complex afterwards for a break and found a variety of shops there.The People's Park Complex was a commercial housing project undertaken by the newly formed Urban Renewal Department of the Housing and Development Board's Sale of Sites programme. The project was the subject of the programme's first sale in 1967.It was one of the first "mall" in asia.Therefore,It has a very long history.Many IT gadgets can be found there too.

Next I went to see one of singapore's oldest hindu temple.The The Sri Mariamman Temple which is built in the in the Dravidian style.I did not enter it but i can see that it's architecture design is very sophisticated.The temple look old.

Chinatown is obviously an exciting place to go.I went to the streets of chinatown today.It consisted of many shop houses and it certainly looks like it was from the past,where many people lived in these shop houses,except that they refurnished it and painted the buildings,therefore,transforming it into a great tourist attraction especially during the chinese new year.
